    Is it possible to disable quick edit for selected pages only. I’m trying to create a clean RSS feed using ditto but quickedit puts its link in there too which makes the XML invalid.
    Thanks

      but quickedit only gets renderd if the reader is logged in so the xml willk be valid if you are not logged in the manager

        thanks for your reply. This is what I thought initially. Even when not logged in it puts the following

        <quickedit:content />

          so why do you use the html version of the tafg instead of the placeholder version?

          use [*#content*] instead of <quickedit:content />

          and I think that you want to use the blank template to display the xml? that way quick edit would not render at all (no head and body tags no quick edit)

            thanks for your suggestions. I already had a blank template with just with [*#content*]

            It seems to be a limitation of quickedit - unless anyone else knows otherwise?

            I have disabled quickedit on the entire site so my RSS can work!

              This should not be created at all if you did not place this by hand in the code
              <quickedit:content /> that is
              strange

              never seen that before I use documents for css, javascript, xml end even xls never was the <quickedit:content /> rendered automatically
