need help ( create module for shop background )

Hi all,

I want to make a webshop, and need to make a module in modx cms to add/change/delete items from the shop

can any1 help me with a start ?

Have you looked at the e-commerce section of the forums?

Is this going to be a huge shop? I am not sure why you would want a seperate CRUD interface over the document tree unless you were going to have a huge inventory. I’d build your shop in a directory/folder document and subfolders for categories and use TVs for mandatory fields like price and images. This way you can harness the power of ditto to display them in any number of formats.

It would be possible to do this by building your own module OR you could build a side end (a backend on the frontend that doesn’t have public access) that would do what you want using FrontEnd Document Manager which is a simple CRUD interface that can be extended through TVs and templates.
