    We’re experiencing a strange parse issue with modx installed on Mediatemple dedicated virtual setup and using the - specifically this parse error only happens in IE6 & IE7

    Now I see in the error that for some reason only in IE it seems that the directory path is getting screwed up. Now, all images are coded as absolutes like so: /assets/images/imagename.png

    Using relative references - the same result. Any idea?

      Site works okay for me in IE7 on XP SP2.
      Have you tried with the base tag in the template?
      <base href="[(site_url)]" />

        Yeah, tried with and without the base url - I’ve hacked it to work and what I had to do is remove any images placed in the template, put them in chunks and then call the chunks in the template. I don’t understand why having the images in a chunk vs. the template makes a difference especially when the references are the same: /assets/images/imagename.png

        All the inline styled elements with background-image seem to work fine out of the template as well. It’s very strange.
