A electronic petition is not only one simple form of subscription by email.
It must be able to feed a database in real-time and to be able to indicate on line the number of signatories with if necessary their name, first name and country of origin.
Is it possible to do that with Eform or FormProcessor or ContactForm?
Perhaps there exist other better suitable tools ?
Thank you for your assistance if you know simple solutions to do that.

Verum Index sui et falsi
I did a simple online petition recently using Jot. I just changed the templates to work better for a petition than comments. This seemed like the fastest way to do it and also have administrator/moderator features, and in fact it didn’t take me more than a couple hours to set up this way (most of which was spent on making the optional comment field show up as a snazzy JavaScript tooltip).
Thank you, ZAP, for this very interessant suggestion !
I don’t know the jot’s capacity : is it possible to show to a suscriber (ie potential petitioner) the number and the name off all suscribers (sorry for my bad english...) ?
I think it’s one of the essential points of a petition.
Verum Index sui et falsi
Sure. That’s exactly what I did. You can also show any other additional fields that you like (and a comment from each person who writes one), and as a bonus you get Jot’s built-in moderation system.
Hi All,
I'm thinking to use modx revolution for a petition website. Would it work to build in a modx environment? Do you guys have any tips and example that I can use?
Thanks..
