On my current installation of MODx revolution, I have a problem with linking to images or files.
If I insert an image, either using Tiny MCE or a Template Variable, all looks OK except ’assets/’ is missing from the start of the src link.
So for example, I browse to and choose a picture, that should build src="assets/folder/subfolder/imagename.jpg" but instead, both TinyMCE and TV fields return src="folder/subfolder/imagename.jpg"
The files tab works fine in the manager interface and I can browse to all the images and files I upload using Tiny MCe or a TV field, it’s just the link is not being crated properly when I’m editing content.
I’ve searched the forums but can’t find this particular issue, any help would be great!
If Evolution do you have these set :
Configuration => Interface & Features => File base path = /****/**/assets/
Configuration => Interface & Features => File Browser URL = assets/
It’s Revolution, but I’ve added ’assets/’ to the File Manager URL and Resource URL which seems to have fixed Tiny MCE - thank you.
Now if I can get the Template Variables to pick this up I’ll be sorted.
Ah - the Template Variables are now also working.
