    Hi all,

Having spent several hours searching for the answer and playing around, I am hoping that there is someone here who can assist.

I have Modx in the root and SMF in a forum folder within the root. I am trying to integrate SMF using SSI. I have tried the SMFssi snippet but it has issues with the logout link not working due to a session problem. I tried simply placing an include_once to the SSI.php file above the html opening tag in my template and including php code where I want the SMF stuff to appear but it does not show at all. If I create a test file in my root, enter the include line and then enter the call, such as ssi_welcome(); then this works perfectly, allowing login redirects and logout to work fine. This will not work if simply placed in the template though.... very confused by this issue.

SMFssi snippet appears to be the closest to working, but it includes the SSI.php file in the snippet, therefore I wonder if this is getting called in the wrong part of the page, as the include is meant to be above the html. Perhaps this is causing problems?

Can anyone provide a simply answer as to how I can use SSI to integrate SMF, as this would allow use of the SMF registration and user management process and is ideal for my site’s purpose.
