    Hello,

I know it’s possible to edit the content of any page at the front of the site. But is there also a way to add/edit newsitems (ex: title, date, description, img), productitems(brand, category, name, img, description, ...) at the front?

If not possible, is the following statement correct? "To manage the content of a productlist, I need to create a module?"?

I’ve used to work with Typo3, but the usability of that cms is causing my clients a real headache...

    Edit: typo

With the QuickEdit feature enabled, you can edit almost everything.

For adding news items, there are several solutions. One is to examine the blog that can be pre-installed with every new modx installation.

Then there’s the Front End Document Manager: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,14977.0.html

You only really need to create a module if you’re using non-modx database tables, e.g. a large data-set that would be cumbersome to translate to a TV structure.
