I am using the FileDownload plugin so I can post secure files (PDF’s). Everything works "almost" perfectly except that my PDF files stop downloading before they are fully displayed. In fact, they consistently only download about a tenth of the way and this happens on any PC I have tried - and with both IE and FireFox. However, if I display the file directly without the use of the FileDownload plug-in, the files load fully and display OK.
As an example, http://www.<mysite>.com/index?q=downloads&d=mypdffile.pdf gets the file but only a part of it. However, if I access the file directly (such as http://www.<mysite>.com/securefiles/mypdffile.pdf it works OK.
Any suggestions? thanks!
