Help! Setting value of a TV with NewsPublisher

Hi!

I’m really in a hurry and I would really appreciate to get a quick answer on this. I want to use DittoCal to maintain a calendar of the events for a website I’m maintaining. I thought about using NewsPublisher to let the different users post new events, but there is a problem. I need to use a TV to set the date so DittoCal shows the event on the right day instead of the submit date. The thing is that I need a way to make NewsPublisher show a date picker in the form and then I need it to set the TV with that value.

If someone can help me with this one, my deadline is on this fridy, and this is a big problem I need to get fixed before the final presentation in front of the client. I have 2 jobs and I’m working on this at the same time and my brain is almost looking like jelly :s

Thanks a lot.... sadly, the instructions to modify the NewsPublisher snippet are in chinese or some other asian language, so I’ll have to analyse the modified snippet source (wich is hopefuly given in the article). Thanks!

BTW, what is the date picker used in the modx manager?

It seems that there is some support for TVs. I will be faced with the same issue in the near future so I am interested in the solution.
