UltimateParent

Is there anyway to return the "menu title" of a page in place of the "id" when using [[UltimateParent]] ? This would help me out alot, if its possible.

Thanks!
John

Maybe try the GetField snippet.

Yea I Saw this post and the code I am trying to use is:

[!GetField? &docid=`[[UltimateParent]]`!]

This outputs the page title, but not the [*menutitle*].

help would be great

whoop this works...

[!GetField? &docid=`[[UltimateParent]]` &field=`menutitle`!]

This is a GetField support question; nothing to do with UltimateParent BTW. The default field that getField gets is ’pagetitle’. Please try and fully read the instructions for the snippet you are using before posting questions.

In any case, it would be...

as you discovered moments before I posted...

Yea thanks, I really did try reading the support before I posted. Just wasn’t making sense to me at the time .
