Failed to upload file, internal error ?

Hi, thanks for a great cms and forum

I’m running:
MODx 0.9.6 and 0.9.5
Unix server
PHP version 4.4.6
Apache 1.3.37
MySQL 4.1.20

Ive had my two MODx sites for a couple of months without this problem, but now i get "Failed to upload file, internal error" when i try to upload an image in the resources browser. Cant use the filemanager neither. Ive also tried small size images, so it shouldn’t be the filesize.

This problem started on both sites which are using the same host, but different accounts. But i can upload images using a ftp program.

My resource path: /home/FA07-14-03-92_umf932tee9zw3vd89h7x/mydomain.com/public_html/assets/
My resource URL: http://www.mydomain.com/assets/

My images folder is set to: CHMOD 777

But I’m not sure if we are having the same problem.

Might it be that my host has made changes in some way, since this happens to both my sites?

I’ve had a similar problem.

Restoring the index.html file from a previous backup solved this problem for me. You could also use the index.html file from the original installation files.

Don’t know if this solves your problem too, but you could try it. It’s best to rename your current index.html first before uploading a new one.
