mPlayer plays my MP3s too fast!

mPlayer seems to be great and working fine other than the fact that it’s playing my MP3s too fast. They sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. The file plays fine on it’s own, but when I run it through mPlayer, this happens. Could someone throw me a bone or beat me over the head. Thanks.

Found my answer: (NOTE: The MP3 file must be encoded at 44.1 kHz, or 22.05 kHz, or 11.025 kHZ; any other sampling rate will result in the "chipmunk effect," which you really would not like.)

For anyone using the mPlayer snippet. Just thought I’d pass it along...
