    i’ve followed this tutorial using Ditto for Google sitemaps and in result i’ve got odd output

    http://webbake.com/tutorials/modx-cms/google-sitemap-with-ditto

    <url>
    <loc>http://mydomain.com//contact-us</loc>
    <lastmod>1970-01-01</lastmod>
    <priority>.5</priority>
    </url>

    first of why in <loc> after my domain there are two slashes?
    [date] is linux time
    priority is .5 and not 0.5 as google suggests. is it equal by google’s calculations?

    thanks

      I can’t help with your question but you might like to try the sitemap snippet from the repository. I found it very quick and easy to set up.

      The Ditto example looks good too. What happens when you remove the separating slash from the <loc> chunk?
