I accidentally posted this in another forum, so I am reposting here:
I am using the weblogin snippet on my site, and when users are trying to change their password, nothing is happening. I have searched the forums to no avail, and am getting no error messages, and nothing in the system events log. I am using MODx 0.9.5 with WebLogin 1.0 and WebChangePwd 1.0.
When they attempt to change their password and hit submit, it is not showing if it was successful, and is just showing the change password screen again. This happens on all occassions, such as if they are having the system issue the new password, create their own, show it on screen and email it to them.
The snippet is being called uncached on an uncached page, and I have tried it the other way around also of calling it cached.
Any ideas on where to begin to look? I haven’t changed anything with this snippet and it was working when the site went live.
Ok, after quite a bit of testing, this appears to only be related to IE v.6 and v.7.
I’m not sure why, but it is not working on those, but is on FF 2.0.
Any help? Anyone?

Sounds like the problem that IE has when submitting something using an image submit type. Try switching it to a normal button, or ignore this if it’s not the case.

Is that the ’submit_x’ ? I think I remember reading it someplace, but not sure if that’s it or not. My web-users don’t have problems logging in, so is that something that would only affect the change password snippet?

I think it was fixed for login, but the change password hasn’t honestly been touched in a long time.

I am using the default template for the Change Password, and here is the ’submit’ button code that goes with it:
<td id="buttons">
<input type="submit" value="Submit" name="cmdwebchngpwd" />
<input type="reset" value="Reset" name="cmdreset" />
</td>
So, how would the ’submit_x’ fit into it or is there another part of that snippet that would need to be changed?
