ModX + SMF + Gallery

Hi.

I like Modx very much thats because i have chosen it again...
i tried PHPbb and so on but no Forum was the perfect one.

now i installed MODX and SMF ( with Bridge ) and wanted to add a Chat and a Gallery ... mostly to SMF.
MODX gives me the Frontsite and so on... SMF the Forum and the Userfiles and Passwords ..

now the Gallery should work for Forum Members only. I wanted to ask if MaxiGallery would be the right thing
because of the member question... and If its right... how do i include it into my Template ?
is there something like a tutorial with all the commands ?

the alternative would be G2 with SMF Brige but somehow i don’t feel its the right one.

can someone help me to find a good Gallery and Chat for my Forum thing ?

I suggest MaxiGallery : just give access to the gallery to the forum usergroup

If you need a simple gallery for forum users, you can use GalleryLite mod for SMF (you can find it on the SMF website)

ok... i thought about making a gallery where everyone can post pics... but .. hmmm NO!
so i think MaxiGallery looks Great !

i put the maxigallery.txt into a MaxiGallery snippet ...
uploaded the files, made CHMOD and tried a call...

... doesn’t work...
dowsn’t work...

there is only the call visible in the content area
what is wrong with my calls ?
