RSS Import

Is there a snippet for the importing of RSS?

OK, NewsParserX is working well, EXCEPT when I try to import http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories. Is it just me or is there a ’bug’ that won’t import this page?

try to make a link completely along with their xml/rss extentions.

Can you tell me exactly what you mean? That is the only link provided by Yahoo!. At least that I know of.

are you displaying the images also?

I’m getting some tags appearing in my display (’>) which I am sure are causing the issue, but don’t know where they are coming from.

For better look, you may look at http://www.portercounty.net/new/news.html. The local news feed on the right works perfectly, but Yahoo’s feed, located at the bottom, messes up. Is it because of the images? ... hmmm, I wonder.

I tried that snippet also and still had errors with the import. Every other feed is working well (although no others so far have images), but I am wondering if it is a tag or formatting issue specific to Yahoo! which is causing the issue.

They do have a lot of elements I don’t normally see in these, but can you share the exact call to NewsParserX and/or pieX, and the chunk templates you are using to render these with? That could be part of it...
