Hi everyone,
I read about this topic on some places at the forum, but either the solutions posted doesn’t apply to my particular case, or I’m too new with MODx to solve my problem.
I downloaded and installed 0.9.5 beta 5, love it and it seems I can do most of what I need, but I’m stuck with one thing. I’m using the default website data that ships with MODx 0.9.5 beta 5, and in the blog section I would like to have some web users that would be able to add news on this section. I create a couple of test web users and sure, when they log in on the sidebar an "Add Blog Entry" option appears on the menu (I’m using the default MODxHost) and they can input page title, context, summary, etc. BUT only plain text, there is not an editor, no toolbar for images, etc. And I need that because not everyone knows HTML, and also they need to upload images to the server.
The "Add Blog Entry Page" has the following:
[!NewsPublisher? &folder=`2` &canpost=`Site Admins` &formtpl=`FormBlog` &footertpl=`FormBlogComments` &makefolder=`1` &rtcontent=`tvblogContent`!]
(The web users I created belong to "Site Admins" group, to be able to use the above)
The "blogContent" template variable exist and has "Input Type: RichText", "Widget: RichText", and "Editor: TinyMCE". Also "Template Access" is checked for all templates , and "Access Permissions" to all groups (public).
I can’t figure out what’s wrong here, I’m too new with MODx, if there is anyone that succeed with this or has any idea, thanks in advance.
Regards,
