Modx + Google Maps

Hi All,

I’m totally new to Modx, (actually I tried to get it working ages ago but didn’t have the time), but have managed to install it and even got FURL’s working perfectly.
A project that I have running with another CMS involves a new google map with each entry, by way of a plug where I simply paste a small piece of code with the required co-ordinates, (lat/lon), and everything works fine.

What i want to do is take the same project but use Modx.

I have installed GoogleMapMarker which is great and works a treat but I can only have 1 set of co-ordinates in the snippet.

Is there anything that I haven’t found yet that will allow the same functions as GoogleMapMarker but with a fresh set of co-ordinates to be entered with each new post?

UPDATE: I found GoogleMap and this so nearly allows me to produce exactly what I want BUT, does anyone know how to change the map type? i want to change it to hybrid, where currently it’s set to map but I cannot find the settings anywhere.

Last question, for now, on this ... how can i include html in the bubble? for example, to reference an image.

What do you mean by this? You set the initial center position for the map in the snippet call and define a folder where you can have as many "marker documents" as you want and they will be generated as pins in the google map. To do multiple google maps with different pins, just define different folders in the snippet call where to get the marker documents..

To change the map type to hybrid a think you have to add this line :
