    Hi guys,

    I need help from those of you, who know how to "hack" certain snippets.
    For my project, I only need certain news to show up on the frontpage, but all news to show up under "news" and in the rss-feed. News on the frontpage are displayed using the long title-option, news in the "news"-section use the normal title.

    so it should be quite easy to only display news that have a long-title, news that don’t have a long title are displayed only in the news-section

    so, there needs to be added something like
    if (isset($long_title) == true) {
    $output = ’’;
    }

    but I don’t know where to add this, nor do I think that the code is correct
    please help me,

    thank you so much

      Hi ,

      I guess you want have to hack anything to achieve this result.

      First you should upgrade to ditto (documentation is here: http://mirror3.cvsdude.com/trac/ditto/codebase)
      You have to create a TV , name: frontPageNews, (type: radio) options value=> Yes||No
      Attach the TV to the template used by "news" document.

      Then you can filter the news to display on the frontpage with &filter param in Ditto.
      (for instance &filter=`tvfrontPageNews, Yes` )

      :-)
