Hello, I am moving to a new server environment and I am unable to see any of the files in the "Files" tab. I can see the root "Files" folder, but when I click to expand I get nothing.

If I modify my filemanager_path to "/assets/" I am able to see a listing of my folders within the assets directory. But, If I click to expand my "images" (/assets/images/) folder, It is empty. I am able to upload to any directory without any problems, so I know the system is recognizing the path(s).

I have set the permissions on the /assets folder to 777. Is there another place I need to update permissions?

    Thank you for your time!

Your subfolders will also need to be read/writeable by the PHP process.

You sure there’s something in the assets/images folder? tongue

Yeah I’m positive. There is a little arrow icon next to each folder so it even sees that there is something in there.
A new twist, I realized (silly me) that while upgrading to v2.08 I only ran the setup files. I failed to copy over any of the new files.

Everything works great locally. Not a single problem. So, I’m guessing that maybe the fact I didn’t update the core files along with the updated setup has something to do with it. (I hope) smiley

What have you set in the rb_base_dir/path, and filemanager_url settings?

I apologize, I should have given more server info
            Server: CentOS Linux 5.5
            PHP Version 5.3.5

rb_base_dir path is empty, as is the filemanager_url
I have always left these blank in the past. I will populate these to see if anything shows up.

No luck. If I update the filemanager_path to "/assets/" It will display the folders within /assets/ but not individual files.
If I terminal into my server and use chmod: chmod -R 777 assets/

              - still no luck. I have never run into this before. embarrassed

IIRC one of the filemanager_* settings needs to be the physical path (eg /user/domains/domain.com/public_html/assets/). Think it was the url one.
