Hello-
Will installing modx delete existing folders/files in the install directory? I have everything up and running in www.my-website.com/dev/ directory and want to update modx and install in the root directory.
If I do this will everything in the dev directory remain or be wiped out?
Please advise, thank you!

MODX only touches the folders it uses: core, connectors, setup, manager and assets. It also has a few files in the root, which are config.core.php, index.php and the htaccess file.
