So I don’t have the best knowledge of php, but I know basic scripting and can figure things out, but I am having problems with the user comments snippet... well I just don’t know where to start.
I tried adding the snippet to a document like so.... [[UserComments]] but nothing worked. I looked up the core snippets documentation but the directions are a little rough. Most the prebuilt snippets I have been using are just add and go, but this snippet seems more complex. So do I need to build my own commenting template with fields first before I use the snippet? What should I do to get started down this road. Any help some one would send my way would be great.... thanks in advance.

I would honestly start with Replix, which is going to replace UserComments in the next release in one form or another. wink

Um Thanks a bunch for pointing me in the right direction, I am stoked on this MODx thing so far, just wish I was better at php and mysql so I could make better sense of how this modules work. haha all in time I’m sure.

This thing is sweet, had it up and working in about 10min, all I need to do now is customise. Nice job, props to the developer for making this snippet easy for us non-scriptonites. grin
