    Hi Bs,

    I’ve tried to post a new comment on your website and after submitting I’ve been sent to your homepage.

    Are new comments prohibited ?

      hmm that isn’t normal behaviour wink which page was that?
      Could be I was editing something when you posted, the "demo" is actually the dev version so it’s under constant change.

        I’ve tried from the first page (http://www.zerobarrier.nl/sandbox/replix/)

        Everything is fine now, my comment has been added to the page.

        :-)

          bS, I just installed Replix and gave it a test drive, but I am unable to delete the comment ( I am logged in as RoleID 1 means as an Admin)

          The call I am using:

          [!Replix? &makefolder=`1` &customfields=`name,email` &customname=`name`!]

          What is the problem ?

          PHP 5.0.4, Apache 2.0, MODx 0.9.1 (rev 646)

              Worked like a charm!

              Thanks a lot.

              One more question, if I have to change the input fields, Will I have to modify comment.inc.html & form.inc.html ? and add my fields to Replix call ?

              And if possible, can you separate style from markup ? tongue

              regards,

              zi

                You don;t have to alter the default templates you can create 2 new chunks 9as copies of both form and comment.inc.html)
                Just add the extra fields and change your replix call with those fields.

                and what do you mean by seperate style from markup? You can customize all of the html wink

                  I was talking about:
                  <div style="border: 1px solid #CCCCCC;margin-bottom: 10px;background-color: #[{onshow;if [{comment.#;ope=mod:2}]=1;then 'f9f9f9';else 'e9e9e9'}];">

                  I guess its realted to TBS usage, but is it possible if I use it like this:
                  <div class="#[{onshow;if [{comment.#;ope=mod:2}]=1;then 'author-comment';else 'user-comment'}];">

                  Thanks.

                  EDIT: I thought its a author and user comment color separator, but it is alternate row color implementation. tongue .... but where to look for post class which will display different style for Post Author’s comment.

                    it’s possible you can use [{doc.createdby}] (remember: all document objects are available as tbs var with doc.variable).

                    <div class="[{onshow;if [{comment.uid}]=[{doc.createdby}];then 'authorrowclass';if [{comment.#;ope=mod:2}]=1;then 'evenrowclass';else 'oddrowclass'}]">

                    TBS supports nested if statements. The example above will use css class "authorrowclass" when the comment.uid (the user id of the poster of the comment) is the same as the document creator id. If not the same it will process the alternate row statement.

                    I’ll put this in the default template next release smiley

                      oops, its getting complex tongue .. lol .. remember I am not a coder actually.

                      Thanks for the explanation, it would be great to have commenting system working out of the box with normal features like we discussed above. Users would style the comments by editing classes in CSS.

                      Thanks.
