changed a good freature hi
Hello,
I am a noob to all of this but, would like to make this work. Have tried several things but, can’t seem to get it right.
I would be happy to write a step by step for newbies if I can get this to work.
My question(s) is, where do I put the downloaded files. Both the ones from this topic and the .js files downloaded from the moofx website???
Also, what to do with the .css? Do the styles just get appended to the original main .css or is this called in as a separate file?
The code that is to be pasted into the head of the template being used seems be missing something. For instance, there is no call to the javascript files that have been downloaded. Hence, I get Javascript errors.
Please help me out and explain the basics as to the best practices on where to store the downloaded files and how to call this using the default intalled MODx sample website. This will go a long way in helping me, and hopefully other noobs on how to get some of this cool stuff working.
Your help is , as always, greatly appreciated.

yes you need to download from the moofx website the js, the css put in your main css file and the snippets in the manager snippets page and in the mootemplate are the calls to the js first put in the head and second part at the end of the body, before you only need to call the main snippet in the template hi
A couple of questions,
Where in the MooTemplate.txt is the js being called? The calls for the downloaded js appear to be absent from the code.
Also, why is there a closing script tag at the beginning of the MooTemplate code? Like...
///put this code in the head of the template
</script><script type="text/javascript">
//the main function, call to the effect object
function init(){
If this is correct, which script is it suppose to be closing?
is the css file necassary for the function of the snippet, or will it work without it? It seems like when I add it to the default installed sample site, it breaks the layout.
Lastly, what does openmenu.txt do?
I really want to get this working. I love what you have done and I have spent 12 hours trying to figure it out. It is a great effect!
Thank you again for your help!
