there’s an option in Profile to show most recent post first; I think that’s checked by default.

        You’re right wink Thanks Susan.
        Now works fine.
It’s an option in user profile, than more people should have this little issue if it’s checked by default...

            SNIPPETS

            BreadCrumbs

            Another One to Add :

            ListChildOrSibs

This snippet was designed to show all child pages, or siblings if there are no children pages, with or without descriptions, in a list.

            And

ListMenu : show navigation in a nested lists of arbitrary depth.

ListMenuX : This snippet will only show documents and folders at the current level and below. There is a modded version by Susan with javascript Suckerfish dropdowns added.

            Also

            NewsEditer and NewsManager
The first Checks to see if users belong to a certain group and displays the specified chunk if they do. Performs several sanity checks and allows to be used multiple times on a page. Only meant to be used once per page. The second manage news in frontend

            and

NewsParserX : This parser allows for more sorts of feeds and by using a simple URL translation allows for parsing of URLs which use variables within the URL. The class can also limit the number of items shown and show the image. For interoperatebility, the same CSS classes are used.

            and
UltimateParent: This snippet returns the ultimate parent of the current document. It is useful for setting the starting root folder for menu snippets to create submenus.

            RandomBackgroundImage
            RandomTeaser
            SqlMenu

            UserCommentsCount

            PLUGINS

A nice one : TemplateSwitcher (pretty self explanatory)

I just change it to snippet for easy installation. Module is just way to overcomplicated. smiley I used plugin before to substitue broken regClientStartupSccript API, but I ended up fixing it myself, and was hoping that somebody will fix it too before using the snippet. So without the need of plugin, I simplified this into a snippet

I make a prominent note of that in the article I’m writing.

@David, could you help me explain the use of sqlmenu?

@xyzvisual? Are you there? You did a great snippet, but I just need a better explanation on what’s the functionality of it. wink Thanks for contributing btw, we all do really appreciate it.

                    Sincerely,

I’ll try to check that, some snippets have no doc whatsoever... some are not listed on the forums, but I have them on my hard drive, I have to check this also...

I think the repository is starting to be quite comprehensive, still a few left though...
