PHPMailer class usable in snippets?

Could we use this class to simplify and add more options to the mailform snippet(s)?

http://phpmailer.sourceforge.net/

looks nice and has already things like attach file in it.
I wish i understood php more that i could write my own mailing snippet
all I need ia a way to attach files in a form, looks like this would work great but how?

Hope that we can use this

Hi Dimmy

Have you seen formmail ?

Its not free but only $29.00 and offers a lot of functions and there is the ability to save form data to a database such as MySQL. This may be suitable if you want to avoid too much coding

Don’t know if its any good for you but the link is here if you want to check it out http://www.email-form.com/index.html

PHPMailer is can be found inside manager/includes/controls folder as class.phpmailer.php

I don’t know if it makes a difference, but the version we distribute is pretty old. Should we update it?

We sure can.

Btw I have an eForm snippet that allows you to do some cool form mailing stuff. Anyone interested?

i think everyone would be interested

Yeah most definitely

Why not?

You can find it here.

Found it!!

Does this mean that it can only be used inside the manager, or can I link to it in some way?

Thanks.
