sources for hotel reservations/bookings

In the main pages it mentions about Sabre which developed an online airlines reservations system. Is anyone using modx with specific scripts for hotel bookings online? Have a travel agent which wants to handle booking for hotels,cruises,and such.

I’ve spent a few hours looking for such script/system for my latest project. I think this one has lots of potential We’ll see...

Not many decent script around in this area, this one is simple but seems OK. It will require some testing though... But lots of small hotels could benefit from this kind of application.

On a similar note, if you have realtors as clients, you might want to check OpenRealty

That said, those apps are often way behind in terms of modernity, one thing I plan to work on though is using MODx’s power to build websites that can answer Hotels, Hospitals... Realtors’ needs.... either by integrating those lesser web applications or turn them into a module or plugin who knows...

I´m just looking for the same (reservation). Actually, I need only a availability check system for a kind of hospital. The solunas script seems okay, but as far as I see there is no possibility to set beds/rooms of the same kind, each room has to be named, which makes not much sense with >100 beds of the same kind. What I found and what needs to be tested is this:

It seems to have a possibility to implement rules for searching, e.g. rooms of the same kind. I will take a look and report here (perhaps not before january).

has anybody done testing on these systems? I am working on an Inn website with 5 rooms that needs something like one of these. if anybody has experience setting these up with MODx I would like to hear it. I was kind of leaning towards php-residence as it has a more recent latest update date - last month, hopefully indicating a more active development. Besides, I have no idea how to deal with the ruby language that solunas is written in. :| Thanks in Advance!
