    I’m using it on one site, with the snippet hacked to make different links, so it’s using two snippets, using the same module behind both snippets. A small problem with the slideshow mode, but it’s working good so far. No problems at all with the backend.

      A port of Gallery 2 is coming soon, FYI! It’s huge, but very, very cool. This will include synching with the user accounts, too. laugh

            I figured out the major problem I was having is due to EPG2’s call for the photo.
            for instance:

            if i have my album pages in a folder called "photo", then the gallery URL would look like this:
            http://www.domain.com/photo/gallery1.php

            and when epg2 calls for a photo, it should call like this:
            http://www.domain.com/photo/gallery1.php?page=0&scope=1&sortby=id&dir=asc&pic=2

            but it doesnt, it calls for:
            http://www.domain.com/gallery1.php?page=0&scope=1&sortby=id&dir=asc&pic=2

            Now, I believe this is because the snippet was written for ’Etomite’, and ’Etomite’ did not do friendly alias paths like MODx does.  When I disable friendly alias paths in the system configuration, everything works perfectly.  Maybe this will have to wait for EPG3, but I think it would be worth mentioning.  I don’t have a damn clue of what to look for in the snippet, maybe you might see something in the code that is causing the issue.  Let me know.

              Friendly Alias Paths are tricky indeed. In fact, I gave up on them! They are candidates for a pretty serious overhaul.

                Does anyone know how I can change the EPG2 code so I am not getting all these XHTML errors:

                  Just looks at quick glance like it needs quotes around the source (src) attribute.

                      If you want EPG2 to work with friendly alias path just replace all:

                      $link = $etomite->makeUrl( $id, '', $args );

                      with

                      $link = '[~'.$id.'~]'.$args;
