Really nice looking site.
However, I hate to say this but it’s really "tiny" and hard to read.

My eyesight was excellent until about four years ago; I turned 50 and now it’s becoming a serious problem. I hate that; I’ve always done fine needlework as a hobby, and now I can’t see the finer threads and hooks, nor can I read (even with glasses) for more than a couple of hours at a time. I used to be up all night with a good book.
As far as web design goes, accessability is becoming a serious issue; there have been a number of lawsuits in some places over web sites be accessible to everybody, including the vision impaired. That’s why I’ve begun paying attention to ways to use text with expandable backgrounds for my menus instead of images, and making simpler designs that are more easily modified with CSS for screen readers or enlarging the text.

I just upated the snippet at the beginning of the thread. I’ve made some changes to keep from rendering empty <li> tags and made some other updates like Menu Title support.
