    Hi,

We have a client we built a MODx-driven site for a few years ago and something has happened where their site is unreachable. We can get into the manager no problem but the front-end of the site is completely missing. Off the bat it looks like the index page was removed by accident but not sure if the way to fix is to replace with a new one. The current version they’re on is MODx 0.9.2.1 (rev 1005). Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Well, we got the home page working - managed to find an archive of the index.php file. But yeah, they’re going to have to contact their host. Thx.

This is what I get when I deleted the index.php:

          Not Found

The requested URL /index.php was not found on this server.

If this is what you are getting and you can’t find an easy backup, you might just want to upgrade (after backing everything up). That would solve the missing files problem, unless there are other files missing.

Can you see the documents in manager?
            Just learning the ropes.
