    Hi,

When I try to login my CMS via /manager I get a blank page. If I look in the source code there’s nothing?!
    What’s happening???

I hope you can give me a quick answer, because my client needs to login his CMS.

    Regards,
    Michael

        Browser: Firefox and IE
        PHP version 5.0.4
        Server: Linux homer.webhot.dk
        Apache: Apache/2.0.54 (Fedora)
I’m not sure if it’s MODx version 0.9.6 or 0.9.6.1

Do you see the Manager login screen?

Were you able to log in before?

          Is the reflect snippet installed?

Go into cPanel and see if the index.php file in the MODx root has been modified and has anything suspicious in it.

No, I don’t see the Manager login screen?

I were able to login before but not now.

I don’t think the reflect snippet is installed.

            What do I do now?

I think I’d start by backing up the database and all the files and assets via phpMyAdmin and FTP respectively. This is because an upgrade might also be a solution to get you up and running quickly. Probably upgrade to 0.9.6.3 or EVo 1.0. Personally I would go for an upgrade. After all, if I have the database and my files, MODx makes it very easy to upgrade.

You shouldn’t rule out your server being compromised though. Like Bob suggested - have a look at the index.php.

Have you also checked with your host to see if they didn’t change anything in the servers?

              cheers/k

Okay, I will try to upgrade MODx. Should I choose 0.9.6.3 or EVo 1.0? What’s the difference?

I will try to check the host about their servers.

                Thanks Kongondo

Evo is a major improvement over 0.9.6.x.
