Just installed MODx 0961.p2 locally on WAMPserver 2.0. After the install, I went in and made some changes to the site’s administrator settings. I saved the settings and immediately received a ’Config file still writable’ error. I have located the config.inc.php file in the manager/includes directory, but can not find the line of code in the file that needs to be changed in order to make it read only. (I have read through many forum postings and other resources, but can not find explicit instructions for this.)

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for the support.

That warning doesn’t make much sense on Windows OS. On Unix, you’d have to change permissions (CHMOD), but Windows doesn’t use that kind of file-permissions. Hence, just ignore it on a Win OS.

Thanks Ganesh. As you suggested, I am simply ignoring the warning.
