    Hello,

I performed a very easy and no-troubles installation on a remote server, including the sample site.
When I try to make a preview, the following happens:

    « MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
    « PHP Parse Error »

    PHP error debug
Error: include_once(assets/modules/quick_edit/output.class.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory
    Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2
    File: /home/kleinblue/public_html/modx/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(745) : eval()’d code
    Line: 70

    Parser timing
    MySQL: 0.0047 s (3 Requests)
    PHP: 0.0163 s
    Total: 0.0210 s

In a localhost installation I had no problems.
both the documents (output.class.inc.php and document.parser.class.inc.php) exist and are not empty.

    server infos:
    Apache version 2.2.6 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.5
    MySQL version 5.0.45-community-log
    Architecture i686
    Operating system Linux

    Can anyone help?
    thx in advance!!
    • This is a QuickEdit defect that rears it’s head in some configurations, though I can’t recall at the moment the specifics. Disable the QuickEdit plugin and the error will go away.

Shall I wait for a new modX release or can I help you help me giving additional information about the system? Quickedit’s such a useful facility...
