Hi all,
I tried searching for others who have had this problem, but I couldn’t find any.
I’m trying to upgrade from 0.9.6 to 0.9.6.1. I downloaded the latest copy, uploaded it all to my server, and ran the install script.
But when it asks me to choose between a new installation, an upgrade or an advanced upgrade, I can only choose the new installation. The other options are greyed out, I have no choice.
Can anyone give me some insight on this? Thankyou.

Your manager/includes/config.inc.php file got lost. I hope you have a backup of it. You can just drop it into place, and then the Upgrade option will be available to you.
That worked, thankyou very much.
It turns out all my custom files went missing during my upload... very strange. But no problem, I have backups of course.
Again, thankyou.

I think that depends on either your FTP client or your server setup. Some will just move in the files you’re uploading, leaving any extra ones alone, others will overwrite the whole folder structure.

They do this because Mac comes with a full Apache etc. web setup of its own (turn it on/off in System Preferences, Sharing, Personal Web Sharing) and this way you could have them both running since they’re using different ports.
