Failed to update setting Safari 3

After checking this out: http://svn.modxcms.com/trac/tattoo/changeset/3156 (as that is what is happening to me) I tried to just plugin in the differences on that page into my stable download just to see...

Now it says "Action successful, cleaning up..." but it doesn’t refresh back to the settings.

Is it supposed to do that? Is this the actual fix? Any estimate on the next stable roll out?

I’m a newbie so I’m sorry if this specific question has been asked before.

I don’t know what the cause is if it is the changes but are you using Safari 3 as your main dev browser? As I learned recently it is not fully baked. Apple wanted to ship the new browser with Leopard but Webkit (the open source development group for the Safari 3 engine) hadn’t completed the javascript parsing debugging and some other documented bugs. I certainly wouldn’t use it as my main browser. Specifically for things that require a reasonable rendering of the DOM.

If you want you can go to http://webkit.org/ and get the latest nigthly and compare.
