I have installed modx-0.9.6.2 on my pc using xampp localhost.
My only problem is a window that covers part of the workspace with the message:
"please wait while modx loads the page..."
I reall do need to get rid of it, and dont know how.
help... :’(

Have you tried it in more than one browser? If it’s just one browser, it might be a problem with a browser plugin.
If it happens in more than one, there’s a chance that one or more files was corrupted in the transfer. In that case, you should try reuploading and reinstalling.
There’s also a chance that your XAMPP install has a problem.

K. getting onto it all now. Will download eveything and start again. Thks.
