hope there is a solution to my problem - I’m using WAMP server and modx - I’m able to upload a file to the server through either tinymce or the file manager - however, the file manager won’t allow me to delete that file.
any idea what the problem might be?

is it the same file you uploaded or a diffrent one that you uploaded through ftp?
the file was uploaded through the modx file manager - no ftp involved
Does the MODx "role" you’re logged in under have delete permission?
Do you get any kind of error message at all, or other clue about what’s stopping the deletion process?

Right, but a message from whom? MODx, MySQL, Apache? What’s the exact error message.
sorry, it’s a message that appears at the top of the modx filemanager
