BUMP
Someone else must have noticed this issue? Looking at the generated source code when the error occurs shows that the top frame and left hand menu frame are not sent to the browser, leaving just the main content frame showing.
It just randomly happens every now and then and is becoming annoying.
Is it only in Firefox? If so it might be a plugin. Try the latest Safari for a bit and see if you can reproduce it.

Good point. I’ve only noticed it in Firefox, not in any other browser.
Come to think of it, I had it happen a couple of times, not enough to be able to see any kind of pattern, but since I took out about six Firefox plugins it hasn’t happened at all.

Yeah, I reckon it most liekly is a dodgy firefox plugin. I’m slightly worried it’ll happen to a client but they’re unlikely to have the number of plugins I have running.

I’ve noticed this too, but doesn’t seem to be Firefox as I have 3 MODx sites and two are fine in Firefox, but one isn’t.
