RSS Cache File Deletion?

I am trying to delete an installation of MODx 0.9.6.3 and am able to remove everything except the "assets/cache/rss" folder and files. I tried changing the permissions for the 2 files in the "rss" folder via CHMOD, but get a response saying "Operation not permitted"

Anyone else run across this or know of a fix?
