eform2db VS dbedit VS db2form?

Hi,

My requirement is simply for someone with editor rights to be able to insert data into a custom table, using a form. I have no other custom DB requirements. There seems to be different snippets/modules available at differing stages of development, I’m after the simplest option to implement. I tried db2form and it threw an error db2form_create.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory

What’s everyone’s opinion please??

ps ModX rocks, 3 sites in development right now....

I’ve used a variation of eform2db on the frontend and phpMyEdit (installed as a module) to read/edit table in manager. There’s a forum post about installing phpMyEdit - this works for me as it’s only for a single db table.

Using variants of the eform2db idea here. But I never really looked into dbedit or db2form, though.
