Hallo,
as you can see this is my first post and I have a few little beginners Questions. I need to make a page on wich every User can edit one exact page. Now the Way the Manager looks like and behaves it doesn’t seem apropriate to offer the backend to any of the Users, so I would like to do this in page.
After looking at the several API Documentations and at many Tutorials I thought I could simply ask for advice. I need a Database of Articles and Media for every User, the admin needs to review every change before publishing and the Users need to be able to comment on every article.
My Solution is:
-writing a highly Snippet Based Template as the integration Point to the MODx Frontend
-writing a Manager Modul for the Admin
-using System Events (Plugin) to integrate a Forum (I think Punbb looks clean enough) for Comments and the Community
- the Rest is my own ’glue’
Is this a valid Idea or am I missing something in the Documentation?
