xmind2modx - creates site structure in seconds

Very usefull stuf for testing sites.

So, you will need xmind (http://www.xmind.net/xmind/downloads/xmind-win-3.0.3.200904291819.exe) (hope you know and use it) and xmind2modx (http://xmind2modx.googlecode.com/files/Xmind2modX.exe).

This app will convert your xmind file to sql queries that will create site structure.

For example:
I have some kind of this structure

creating it manualy via modx admin panel - is maddness...

So, all you need - is run program, open xmind file



and save it as SQL file, that will do all work for you.

mac2000, can you add possibility to get id of template from name of first icon, that attached to each topic in xmind (e.g. tag in xmind ’<marker-ref marker-id="priority-1"/></marker-refs>’)? It would be great!

Wow! I’ve been using XMind for about a month now but look at what you’ve done. I thought it’d be good for rapid IA/Site Structures but I didn’t think about using it to semi-automate the process. I’ll try it out.

[Update] I just realized that this is an exe. I dev on a mac.

Nice work I tryed it but obn loading a xmindfile it craches looks like its missing some c# files ICSharpCode SharpZipLib

So to program work correct just download dll and put it beside exe
