Forgive me if this has been posted - but is there a timetable when the Beta would be released? I was looking at the Alpha and it shows that it was from November 25, 2008 and that the Beta would be released sometime in the Spring 2009. So wondering if there is a timetable on it - debating on whether I should try tinkering with the Alpha or just hangon a few weeks for the Beta. smiley I love what Evolution does and would love to see how Revolution does to start up a new Revolution to Web Development. laugh

The problem is, whether a man constantly and strongly believing, that such a thing shall be, it don’t help anything to the effecting of the thing.

Awesome then I will wait until Beta comes out before I start tinkering with Revolution to a few of my sites.
          Thank you!!!

Well a day later you guys surprised the world with the release! Great WORK! I have downloaded, installed it on a VPS server and set it up on a site I’m going to be using to test it with. The installation was flawless - so great work. The backend admin is a bit different than the set up from Evo but I like the look. Will take me some time to figure out the tools and stuff. Do we have a list of what will work with Revo that is currently working in Evo? I’d like to start trying to test and integrating some of the 3rd party stuff. Aka like Wayfinder and etc.

So THUMBS UP ModX! Keep up the great work!

              Billy,

The 3rd Party Components that have been converted to Revolution by the MODx Team can all be installed from within the manager via the System -> Package Management section in Revolution, by selecting the modxcms.com Provider. Most of the conversions were done quickly and not by the original authors, so they might be buggy.

Hopefully we’ll start to see other developers start converting and contributing Components soon as developers start to use and become familiar with Revolution.
