site preview not available urgent help neede

  Hello,
  
  I tried installing Moodle on my server which required install.php to be placed in /var/www and carry out the installation. I did this but the website (Modx) hosted is now not visible. Somehow i deleted all moodle files and iam able to login into administrator backend where i can create documents, add users etc.. but the site preview is not visible. Is some file missing??
