Here’s a simple Module that enables Manager Users to update custom tables in the database via csv files.
It’s based on the code from the Web User Import Module by Laurent.
The brief was the client wants a painless, non expert way of updating their web data from their office Access DB.
Currently it’s set for a two table / csv file update but could do more or less.
Unfortunately you will have to change all the column names $vars and those for the fields array to match your tables.
However, once it’s done you can leave the client to it. (assuming they can produce a csv !)
Copy & Paste the attached .txt file into a new module and start customising.
The file is reasonably well commented.
Any code tidying suggestions, ideas or feedback welcome.
