[plugin] DirectResize 0.9. Рroject is closed and no longer supported.

    I am running 09 rev 6 but all I get is a blank screen on the front end when plugin is enabled. but also in the manager when I want to edit / create a document all i see in that frame is white (nothing is returned somehow)

    I installed it the way its written in the first post.

    I get no errors on screen or in the logs.

    What could be the problem? I had it with the rev 2 version so I update to rev6 but I have the same problem.

      Do you realy sure that all files in their places? It seems that there are no some files that required. You can remove all @ before require functions in  the plugin code and in the directResize.php - MODx must show errors in this case.

      New file simple_html_dom.php was added to includes folder in rev 5.

        this file is not in SVN rev6 where can I get this file? (simple_html_dom.php)

        and yes I had a typo directResize instead of directresize
        and another problem is that the images are not cached somehow assets/images/.phpthumb_cache is empty

          File is in SVN, look.

          By default, cache folder is /assets/snippets/phpthumb/cache/, you can change it in phpThumb.config.php.

            Take a look at http://www.darrenhoyt.com/2008/04/02/timthumb-php-script-released/, what do you think about it? Is there a tiny possibility that you can switch over to that solution if it happen to be better ?

              I don’t think that it is realy better than PHPThumb. It seems that it can simply resize images. PHPThumb abilities are better for many times: resizing, watermarking, many and many filters.

                Fair enough since i’m not the develloper of this snippet.

                Does phpthumb can crop the picture like Timthumb (just for information, in fact i’ve already did use phpthumb on real website but i don’t know if it can do it as simply as Timthumb <-- the crop thing ^^)

                    you can use directresize + phpThumb + phx custom modifier. I just finished cooking this one:

                    You should be able to use all the parameters of phpThumb including croping etc..
                    i.e.: [*image_in_a_tv:thumb=`w=150`*]

                      Hi. You can use all of PHPThumb parametes directly in DirectResize.

                      $dr_local["thumb_phpthumb_parms"]["config_name"]["phpthumb_parm_name"] = parm_value;


                      Example: $dr_local["thumb_phpthumb_parms"]["all"]["ra"] = 90; 

                      It will translated to PHPThumb parameter &ra=90

                      PHPThumb fltr parameter must be called as array:

                      $dr_local["big_phpthumb_parms"]["all"]["fltr"][] = "sep|50|A28065";

$dr_local["big_phpthumb_parms"]["all"]["fltr"][] = "blur|3";


                      It will translated to &fltr[]=sep|50|A28065&fltr[]=blur|3
