I am setting up a site for a client and need to be able to take reservations for cabins as well as display the current reservations in a calendar. Have looked at CALx and Kalender and while working for the displaying of events and allowing admin creation of events, I need the general public to be able to request a reservation that then generates an email with a confirmation link to an admin that they can either approve or disapprove. If approved link is clicked, the event is added to the system, and requester is notified that their request has been granted. Disapprove would email the requester notification that their request had been denied.
CALx - from what I have read, will work for displaying of the events, sorting, and admin creation
Any current snippets or points in the right direction on putting together a system that generates the approve/disapprove links in the reservation email, and the ability to tie the links in the email to event creation using CALx or one of the other calendar snippets?
I can also offer hourly compensation if some design work needs to be done that is above me.
