to solve your problem with the custom fields you have to change a single word in the "ppp.resources.inc.php" on line 244
In my case it worked pretty well! Please don’t ask me why, a friend of mine help me out with this. Maybe Uncle68 can explain it

My next idea was extending <textarea> fields with widgEditor (Homepage), a real tiny RTE. Works like a charm with Susans Web Edit Profile Snippet script, even after submitting the form data. It shows fine in ppp, but I lost all user generated HTML tags after the submit. Is ppp in somewhat using the stripTags(); function, where I could add the $allowed param?
