New eForm version (1.4) - ready for testing

    looks like the placeholders are not getting replaced in the report chunk. here is the html source of the email i’ve got:

    the placeholders are working great in the snippet call though.

    edit:
    found the problem. the eform.inc.php file should have a line like:
    $report		=  formMerge($report,$fields);

    after line 283.

      last one for now...

      the eform attribute doesn’t get unset in the rendered html page.

        I’ll rectify this in the morning (midnight here). Just been at it for nearly 26 hours straight. Can’t see code through the keywords any..zzzzzz,...

            Updated the zip file with fixes to the above errors and added raymond’s suggestion. See top post for changes.

              Hello,

              I try to install the version 1.3 on a beta version MODx 0.9.5 3 (rev on 1533).

              When I try to create the snippet, he says to me:

              Not Acceptable
              An appropriate representation of the requested resource /manager/index.php could not be found on this server.

              A problem of rights on directories?

              I try with the version 1.4, but I am worried...

                Yes, i’have exactly the same problem with the 1.4 snippet....

                An idea to solve this ?

                  Nothing to do with rights as far as I can know.

                  I’m guessing that this is mod_security issue with your host ... this has been discussed before on the forums but I don’t have any links to the discussions, a search should give you some pointers on what to do.

                    Usually there is some variable or something like $cc, which your host will not allow to be uploaded. One solution is to create an empty snippet, then manually add the snippet code to the database in the appropriate field using phpMyAdmin or whatever database management tool your host provides.

                      Thank you very much for your answer. I thus brought in manually the snippet having created its name in the base.

                      But I have now an another problem (I consider independent but from big beginner):

                      When I place the call of the snippet into my page of feedback, like this :

                      &tpl=`eFeedBackForm`
                      &report=`eFeedbackReport`
                      &thankyou=`eFeedbackThanks`

                      ]]

                      this one is not interpreted. it shows not the result (the form) but the code itself.

                      I indeed clarify on that the snippet has obviously the same spelling (eForm) and that all the chunk was created (in fact copy/Past since the manual)

                      Sorry I begin and imagine that it is not a problem with eForm..but nevertheless my other calls of snippet in the same page work.

                      Have you an idea where from it can come?
