    Hi I have been having so many problems trying to get a resources editor user to work. I want 3 users in my modx install. two with full super user admin control access, this is easy to setup and I just added another user as super user. I then made a 3rd user and followed the bob’s guide instructions below:

    1. Go to Security->Access Controls->Roles tab.
    2. Create a role called Editor with an authority level of 5.
    3. If you have the current development version (2.0.5 or higher):
    * Click on the Policy Templates tab.
    * Duplicate the AdministratorTemplate Policy Template; call it AdminEditorTemplate.
    * Create a new policy called AdminEditor based on that template.
    4. Click on the User Groups tab; right-click on the Administrator user group and select Update User Group.
    5. Click on the Context Access tab.
    6. Click on Add Context. You’re creating a Context Access ACL entry; use the following settings:
    * Context: mgr
    * Minimum Role: Editor
    * Access Policy: AdminEditor
    * Save
    7. Click on the Users tab
    8. Add the user(s) to the Administrator user group with a role of Editor.
    9. Click on the Access Policies tab.
    10. Right-click on the AdminEditor policy and select Update Policy.
    11. If you have the current dev. version, there will be checkboxes next to each permission; just uncheck the ones you don’t want them to have.

    I’ve tried this 3 or 4 times and it won’t work. Weirdly the exact same instructions worked great for another website that I don’t need to do this on but I tested it on.

    Can someone please help debug this... I’ve followed them exactly to the word... But when I log in as the Resource Editor user and I can’t see any resources. It’s working to some extent as the buttons and options are there that I select in the Editor access control, but no actual pages. I have tried also ticking all the boxes in the access policy but this doesn’t work either... Please help.

      Did you flush all permissions?

            All the policies that mention "resources" and the welcome page and few bits like that. I have tried assigning all policies by ticking all the boxes but this doesn’t seem to work either...
